Our client, a prominent player in the logistics sector, is on the lookout for a Regional Health & Safety Coordinator. This crucial role is dedicated to enhancing and enforcing health and safety standards across the company's European operations.

- Uphold the company’s health and safety framework within the region, acting as a chief advocate.
- Collaborate with national health and safety representatives to develop and maintain risk assessments.
- Facilitate the creation and adherence to safety compliance and monitoring systems.
- Lead the application and management of risk prevention and emergency response policies.
- Enhance the safety culture by liaising with local health and safety managers and relevant departments, setting safety goals.
- Gather and report health and safety metrics to the regional leadership and the company’s headquarters.
- Initiate actions for continuous safety improvements and manage health and safety certification efforts.
- Mentor company leaders and employees, and oversee the Health & Safety Network, sharing best practices.
Requirements & Profile:
- Degree in engineering or a related field, with over ten years of experience in health and safety roles, preferably within logistics.
- Proactive change agent with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for health and safety, with additional certifications like ISO 45001 a plus.
- Effective communicator in English. German or Italian are considered a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
