For our client, a multinational FMCG company, which is setting up a HUB in Poland, we are looking for an experienced person to take the position of:
Regional Brand Activation Lead
Location: WarsawHybrid
Seeking a talented individual to spearhead marketing and trade marketing strategy across 28 European countries.
Duties:
- Lead the execution of the marketing activation plans.
- Influence for the strongest plan from the category ensuring the needs of the market are sufficiently met.
- Ensure local market insights are sufficiently shared with the category team.
- Design and lead the in-store activation & channels execution strategies (deploy PoS & on-shelf visibility plans, quality control, logistics, etc.)
- Lead the data collection, analysis and feedback on the effectiveness of previous activation campaigns.
- Owe the shopper marketing strategy for the countries: Customer specific marketing (e.g. sampling, retailer loyalty programs)
- Owe and develop the relationships with local marketing agencies.
- Define the local strategy around influencers and social media campaigns (moderation)
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to deploy the activation plans.
- Work collaboratively with Sales teams and customers to maximize the retailer support for our brands, and lead customer-specific marketing.
- Work with multiple brands across different categories and channels.
- Work collaboratively with the Commercial Execution and Marketing Brand Management teams on campaigns and activations plans.
- Build an effective team, develop the talent and drive engagement within the team.
- Be the key point of contact for brand activation in the Market.
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level / business school graduate, or equivalent, with 8+ years’ experience within marketing or adjacent roles.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to identify future opportunities and work with broader teams to translate into business growth plans.
- Engaging retailers in the vision and plans for our brands is key, so a track record of working with large retailers is important.
- Marketing experience of leading & developing local campaigns is key together with demonstrated understanding of agency management and leading partnership negotiations.
- Work well as part of an international, multi-functional team, and the ability to manage a team, lead projects and influence at senior levels and can build strong relationships with agency partners.
- Focused on results with the ability to drive change in business practices. General business understanding and financial acumen is also required.

- Strong communications, organization and influencing skills.
- Fluent business English (written and verbal)
