We are currently recruiting a Regional Director of HR for an International Luxury hotel Group. The role is based in the Swiss German part of CH. 
Your role will encompass overseeing HR support to a team of 400 associates ensuring smooth operation and operational success of those renowned properties. The ideal candidate will act as an employee champion and a leader of change. You will plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's human resource function and performance on properties. The ideal candidate will bring experience working for a multi-property environment and a good understanding of hospitality environment.
 
Responsibilities
  • Provide overall leadership and guidance by overseeing talent acquisition, employee career development, succession planning, retention programs, training and leadership development
  • Support team leaders / departments heads to effectively manage and develop theirs teams
  • Function as a strategic, human capital business advisor to the senior management team
  • Develop initiatives, policies and programs to complement existing practices and create consistency across the organization
  • Oversee benefit and compensation plans to ensure cost efficiencies and attractiveness to retain top talents
  • You will champion the employee value proposition, continuing to build on existing successes. You will also collaborate with HR colleagues to create, develop and embed initiatives that support to drive business success
  • You will lead and coach a small team of 2 persons
  • Within this role you will have the opportunity to work with our Global VP HR on the group strategy
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in human resources or management
  • 10+ years' of professional HR experience, ideally from a services oriented business, with a combination of corporate and business unit line experience preferred in the hotel industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German, English and ideally French
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
  • It is vital you are exceptionally organized and able to prioritize and juggle a busy workload and multiple areas of responsibility.
  • You are enthusiastic about developing yourself and others.
  • You have a clear, approachable, and friendly communication style and strong customer service orientation.
  • Can demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving judgment and decision-making skills.
