Newly created position - Leader on the smart home market

Our client, a global leader in Consumer Electronics is looking for a Sales Account Manager - Switzerland and Austria (Switzerland or Germany based). 

The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for the daily running and all activities / responsibilities associated with Sales account as outlined below.

Specific Responsibilities :

Collaborative planning and working with the Amazon Brand Specialist and operations representative from our EMEA team to deliver the following:
  • Responsible for the end-to-end management of the client's portfolio. This includes but not is not limited to execution of category and SKU merchandising, promotions (including tactical and strategic planning), inventory (sales in and out), critical product launches, product strategy and marketing for Switzerland and Austria
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas. 
  • Full account and P&L ownership of all Switzerland and Austria Retail & Ecommerce
  • Collaborating and working closely with customer representatives to ensure successful partnerships
  • Create proposals, negotiate agreements, and maintain a strong overall relationship with customers
  • Plan and prioritize sales calls and customer contact towards maximizing sales and achieving agreed business objectives
  • Full responsibility for quarterly marketing budgets and spends at channel and account level
Experiences and Qualifications : 
  • Minimum of 6 years sales account management experience in Consumer Electronics retail is essential
  • Bachelors University / College degree is desired
  • Demonstrable understanding of the Swiss and/or Austrian retail and e-tail market and nuances of each
  • Strong account management skills with high regard for attention to detail and content management

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong collaborator across various functions to achieve a common goal
  • Digitally fluent with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Vendor Central and various online tools
  • Understanding and managing all aspects of a P&L
  • Capable of building productive relationships internally and externally across management and functional levels
  • Excellent problem identification and remediation skills
  • Understanding of sound internal control activities and practices
  • Fluent in German and English (French is a plus)
