Director Risk Management F/M - Funds Industry

My client is a leading service provider for the funds industry, renowned for their excellence and commitment to innovation.
They are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Risk Management F/M to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Lead the identification, evaluation, and mitigation of risks associated with fund management activities.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including UCITS, AIFMD, and other relevant frameworks.
• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement risk management strategies that align with the company's overall objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Oversee the monitoring of risk exposures and ensure timely and accurate reporting to senior management and regulatory bodies.
• Team Management: Lead and mentor the risk management team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, auditors, and clients, to ensure robust risk management practices.

Qualifications:

• Education: Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in risk management within the funds industry, with a strong understanding of UCITS and AIFMD regulations.
• Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities, and a proven track record in strategic risk management.
• Languages: Fluency in English & French.
