THE COMPANY
Our client is a global leader in the development and manufacture of their products.
THE ROLE
As a result of continued growth and development our client is looking for a Key Account Director.
The candidate will be responsible for a team managing several strategic accounts across European region and will be responsible for the realization of sales objectives within the assigned group. The person will need to have a good knowledge of the flexible packaging market and a good understanding of credit and financial aspects of sales job.
The main responsibilities will include :
- Prepare, negotiate and initiate Sales budgets and strategies in order to achieve the required volume targets and contribute to the profitability defined by the company.
- Negotiate sales with existing and new customers who are of strategic importance to the organization.
- Develop contract agreements with customers, negotiate prices and other commercial conditions
- Develop annual planning activities, stewarding and execution of the plan.
- Evaluate and recommend new business to maximize profit opportunities.
- Define and implement annual sales strategy and decision making process in line with overall company sales strategy and monitor competitive activities.
- Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Technology functions for developing right solutions for business growth in the Region.
- Coordinate the activity of all functions with whom the customer has direct contact in order to provide a consistent and cohesive service. Be the lead communicator for strategic account related activity – disseminate information to the relevant parties
- Ensure compliance with all government regulations
- Maintain key account, brand-owners and industry / trade relationships as needed.
- Ensure visibility of company at trade shows and in specialized press through collaboration with MarCom department
THE PROFILE
- Experience in the commercial role in flexible packaging industry
- Experience in dealing with large multinational companies
- Natural concern for high standard and quality
- Strong cultural awareness – experience in interaction with customers and teams of various nationalities
- Strong interaction and negotiation skills
- Problem solving attitude, forward thinking, self-motivation, initiative taking
- Excellent oral and written communication skills – excellent presentation
- Languages: English, any other language is a plus
- Ready to travel extensively
