We are looking for a reliable and experienced professional for the position of Senior Financial Controller F/M within a major player in the insurance sector, based in Luxembourg.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial and regulatory reporting, while acting as a key link between internal stakeholders and external authorities.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial and regulatory reporting, while acting as a key link between internal stakeholders and external authorities.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit financial and regulatory reports, including those required by CICE, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
- Coordinate the preparation of annual financial statements and contribute to the drafting of regulatory publications such as the SFCR.
- Ensure robust internal controls are in place and functioning, aligned with group policies and SOX compliance—participating actively in testing and documentation.
- Monitor adherence to legal and regulatory requirements and support implementation of best practices in financial governance.
- Act as a central contact point for internal teams and external auditors, handling all queries related to financial and regulatory reporting.
- Collaborate with departments such as Risk, Investments, and Actuarial to support reporting processes and ensure alignment across functions.
- Coordinate audit activities by gathering documentation, resolving audit queries, and ensuring timely follow-up with relevant teams.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and contribute to improving reporting processes and internal workflows.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in financial accounting, ideally within insurance or financial services.
- Solid knowledge of Lux GAAP and/or IFRS, and familiarity with regulatory reporting obligations in the insurance sector.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP or financial reporting tools.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
