We are seeking a sole in-house Counsel to join a global industrial company with 50 employees based in Luxembourg, near the Belgian border.
Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer and liaising with Board Members, the Legal Advisor will provide legal support across the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Corporate Housekeeping: Oversee legal documentation and maintain accurate databases. Act as a central point of contact, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant information gathering.
• Contract Negotiation and Drafting: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including sales, purchase, NDA, loan, and agency agreements, in line with business objectives and legal standards.
• Litigation Support: Assist in managing litigation matters by preparing case summaries, collecting supporting documentation, and ensuring accurate and organized evidence handling.
• Operational Legal Advisory: Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice to operational teams to manage legal risks and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with clients, banks, service providers, law firms, and regulatory authorities, ensuring clear, professional, and efficient communication.
• Compliance & Regulatory Coordination: Prepare and submit KYC, AML, and other compliance documentation to financial institutions and regulatory bodies, ensuring full compliance with relevant regulations.
Profile:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar legal role within the industrial sector
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are an asset
• Knowledge of European and international legal frameworks
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time effectively
