Our client is a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of instrumentation and associated consumables for clinical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, microbiology laboratories around the world. We are looking for a Field Sales Application Specialist.

Field Sales Application Specialist (F/M)
Responsibilities :
  • You follow-up the incoming calls, emails from distributors, customers regarding the application and positioning of the product.
  • You seek new sales opportunities by generating leads through proactive outbound calls.
  • You inform customers regarding new product releases, obsolete product notification, product improvements, promotional plans or products.
  • You do joint visits with the seller to perform live demonstrations, product presentations.
  • You follow-up on the requests for demonstration units from the distributor.
  • You execute customer demonstrations to prove the value of the products.
  • You initiate demo plans to customers to include any of the following: new product releases; product improvements; promotional plans or product positioning.
  • You initiate customer training according to the above subjects.
  • You manage and build strong relationships with biopharmaceutical accounts.
  • You maintain excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • You maintain product knowledge and competitive awareness to implement compelling solutions for customer.
  • You communicate well and verbally convey the applications, concepts and benefits of products.
Profile :
  • You have at least 3 years of experience as a Field Application Specialist/Inside Sales/Technical Support
  • You have a Bachelor/Master's degree in Medical sciences, Biology, Bio-engineering or other relevant degree
  • You have experience in implementing a consultative sales approach.
  • Any experience in the field of Biopharma is a plus.
  • You have strong communication and organizational skills.
  • You are solution oriented.
  • You are very familiar with CRM software.
  • You have the ability to work individually and in a team.
  • You are resistant to stress and you can work independently.
  • You have strong organizational skills.
  • You are keen to travel regularly.
  • You are fluent in English and speak Dutch and/or French.
