Our client is a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of instrumentation and associated consumables for clinical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, microbiology laboratories around the world. We are looking for a Sales Manager Bioprocessing (F/M)

Sales Manager Bioprocessing (F/M)
The Sales Manager will lead the Benelux Sales for its assigned product line including medical instruments, equipment, consumables but also service contracts. He/She will ensure to achieve or exceed the sales targets with acceptable profit goals. The Sales Manager will be responsible to manage existing customers, continuously develop its clients portfolio and offer a customized solution based on the understanding of their needs and application methodology. He/She will also closely collaborate with the product and marketing departments.


Responsibilities :
  • You will be responsible for all aspects of the local sales including but not limited to prospecting, demonstrations, negotiations, the installation and post-sale support process.
  • You will be the main business representative and person of contact of the company and operate with integrity and honesty in all business contacts.
  • You will define and achieve a sales plan for the assigned territory.
  • You will maintains accurate and timely data in the CRM.
  • You will be responsible for providing regular and accurate forecast information for the territory in the CRM.
  • You will participate in or support local, regional and national shows as requested.
  • You will conducts demonstrations, coordinate installations and customer training.
  • You will build relationships with procurement departments to streamline the approval processes.
  • You will develop key internal relationships with Marketing to ensure collaboration and alignment for effective selling strategies.
  • You will Works regularly with the Service organization to ensure customer satisfaction and to realize revenue on a predictable and timely manner
  • You will respond to problems or complaints that arise in accounts, either by personal action or by securing the assistance and support from others in the organization; work as a liaison for reporting customer complaints to the company’s Technical Services.
 
Profile :
  • You have minimum 5 years of direct sales experience/account management in the Life Science industry.
  • You have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Biology/Medical Sciences/Life Sciences or any other related field.
  • You have a broad industry knowledge within the biotech industry.
  • Bioprocessing knowledge is required.
  • Experience in cell line development will be considered a plus.
  • You possess a valid driver’s license and are able to travel regularly (50%).
  • You are able to manage and develop sales territories while managing costs and risks.
  • You are fluent in French and/or Dutch + English
