Finance Manager / Head of Accounting (m/f/d)


Responsibilities

• General accountant in charge of internalising the bookkeeping and accounts preparation
• Preparing monthly and quarterly financial reporting and annual financial statements
• Managing a small team of junior accountants both professionally and disciplinarily
• Ensuring compliance with all tax regulations and legal requirements
• Assistance to the CEO in budget preparation and performance monitoring
• Supporting the implementation of a new ERP system
• Drafting and implementing new accounting processes as part of the new ERP implementation (with the help of external consultants)
• Implementation of project accounting (in connection with the new ERP system)
• Collaborating with the HQ finance team
• Liaising with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors and tax accountants

 
Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a comparable qualification
• Additional certifications such as Certified Accountant (m/f/d) are preferred
• Several years of experience in accounting with comprehensive expertise in all relevant areas
• First practical experience in project accounting / controlling is a plus
• Solid knowledge of German commercial law (HGB); IFRS knowledge is desirable
• Proficiency in common accounting and ERP systems
• Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to work
• Hands-on mentality with excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and team collaboration abilities
• A strong command of both German and English (business fluent)
