Overview of the Position:

Our customer is seeking an experienced Offer Manager (m/f/d) to join their Account Management Team in the Düsseldorf area. This role focuses on aligning global business strategies to the local market, primarily through engaging closely with distributors to generate leads and opportunities. The Offer Manager will leverage their expertise to conduct webinars, technical training, and promote new products, ensuring our partners are fully equipped to meet market demands. This position plays a pivotal role in farming existing relationships to secure ongoing business growth.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Tailor global strategies to align with local business needs, collaborating closely with global office managers in France and leveraging regional technical support.
  • Maintain strong relationships with distributors to generate leads and uncover opportunities, ensuring a robust partnership and mutual business growth.
  • Organize and deliver webinars and technical training sessions to inform distributors and their customers about new products and solutions, enhancing their market offering.
  • Employ farming techniques to nurture and expand existing distributor relationships, focusing on long-term satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Work alongside regional Offer Managers and technical support teams to ensure a unified and effective approach to the market.
  • Travel occasionally within the designated region to support distributor needs and business development efforts.
Job Requirements:
  • Proven experience in solution selling and account management within the Industrial Automation/Electrical sector, dealing with OEMs, channels, or end users.
  • A solid background in engineering, electrics/electrical, industrial automation or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with proficiency in a Central and Eastern European language (e.g., Polish, Czech) being advantageous.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and high motivation, with a track record of thriving in a dynamic business environment.
  • Experience in distribution planning and management, with a keen ability to navigate and excel within a matrix organization.
  • Willingness to travel 15-20% of the time, primarily for customer engagement and support activities.
Additional Information:
This position is home-based in Germany, ideally not far from Düsseldorf, as there will be a requirement to visit this hub once per week. The role is designed for individuals with significant experience, not suitable for recent graduates. Knowledge of any Eastern European language is considered a strong plus due to the regional focus of the role.
