In the pursue of realizing the potential of the business for Pfizer´s Consumer Healthcare, the Telemarketing Manager plays a critical role in terms of the redemption of the ambitious growth targets. The purpose of the role is to secure a highly motivated and continuously trained Telemarketing vendor set-up in the Nordic region. A key priority for the Nordic Telemarketing Manager is to bring Telemarketing- and Customer Service functions to a world class level in new sales, retention and cross sales. As part of the commercial transformation the Telemarketing manager will experience a team that uses all digital channels to generate leads and strengthen the commercial business thought implementing and executing strategies and campaigns.

The Telemarketing vendors are external resources and the new Nordic Telemarketing Manager is responsible for training and setting up clear sale targets based on experience and overall KPI´s and to optimizes the synergies between external telemarketing, internal call centers and the subscribers and deliver world class customer experience.

Primary responsibilities

  • Set up tangible sales targets and action plans including specific targets on new sales, cross sales, single sale, win back including focus on CPO (Cost per Order).
  • Develop and execute sales strategies.
  • Realistic and ambitious sales forecasting in close cooperation with the team members and management.
  • Professionalize and further develop outbound telemarketing process: analyzing data, new sales concepts, methods and value propositions that reflect customer needs.
  • Secure best practice across the different telemarketing vendors by close involvement in vendors way of doing telemarketing.
  • Development and optimization of sales scrips, sales training and other sales supporting materials.
  • Coaching of external telemarketing employees on site.
  • Develop management reporting on sales activities and Sales KPI’s (will get a lot of help from the team).
  • Weekly follow up on sales forecast, sales KPI’s and dialog with external telemarketing vendors to optimize sales rates, minimizing churn and diminishing customer complaints.

Professional experience

  • +5 years of experience from a similar position from a B2C company – could be from telecommunications, insurance or subscriptions-based industry.
  • Could also be from the Telemarketing agencies.
  • Used to work in an environment with a large focus on hitting the target every week.
  • Understanding the customer journey and the different sales phase in telemarketing and how superior customer service drives sales
  • Hands on experience with development of sales script, objection treatment and powerful sales materials.
  • Training, development and coaching of telemarketing sales staff.
  • Date-driven and experienced in evaluating data and make corrective behavior on a day-to-day basis.
  • Preferably some experience in lead generation but not a requirement.
