At Morgan Philips, we are supporting our client, a leading multinational organization, in the search for a Global Team Lead - IT Asset Management. Reporting to the Global Head of IT Services, Performance & Governance, this senior role requires a strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to drive global CMDB implementation, FinOps maturity, and IT Asset Management transformation.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a global IT Asset Management (ITAM) strategy, covering hardware, software, and cloud assets for a multinational IT landscape.
- Lead the ServiceNow CMDB implementation, ensuring data integrity and alignment with ITIL best practices.
- Drive FinOps maturity, optimizing cloud and software license costs while ensuring compliance with financial and operational targets.
- Own and steer the partnership with the external SAM/HAM and FinOps provider, ensuring service excellence and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure adherence to software licensing models (SAP, Microsoft, etc.), ITIL processes, and regulatory compliance (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
- Collaborate with regional IT teams, Procurement, IT Controlling, Hosting & Outsourcing partners.
- Implement new ways of working, driving cultural change and a mindset shift towards a proactive ITAM approach.
- Manage international stakeholders across Asia, Europe, and the US, ensuring seamless global coordination.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in IT Asset Management, ITIL, FinOps, or related roles within a large-scale enterprise environment.
- Strong experience with ServiceNow, SAP, Microsoft Licensing, and IT Financial Management.
- Experience with IT cost optimization, licensing structures, and cloud FinOps.
- Ability to navigate uncertainty, drive change, and implement innovative processes.
- Proven leadership experience managing global teams (direct and matrix reports) and external IT providers.
- Experience working in highly dynamic organizations with a strong ability to manage uncertainty and drive change.
- Fluency in English (Spanish and/or German is a plus).
