Our client is looking for a Head of Sales Spain and Portugal. The candidate will lead and develop the business and manage the Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and SCM team to achieve the sales plan for both countries with an office located in Barcelona city.
Report directly to the Director Sales International of HQ in Germany, the responsibilities are:
Strategic:
- Leading the Spanish organization and their activities with a team of 6 employees.
- Development of the Spanish & Portuguese retail market potential.
- Managing the private label business as well as the brand business.
- International Business Development as part of the Company Group.
- Further development of the strategic and conceptual Private Label Business onto the next stage.
Operational:
- Steering of all market activities with the goal of long-term increase of revenue and profit.
- Annual planning of revenue and profit together with the team.
- Steering of sales prices and managing negotiations.
- Realizing Private Label Projects within timelines.
- Recognizing of market developments and transfer those into profitable business.
- Managing customers.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge about the Spanish and the Portuguese retail business, as well as supermarkets, discounter, drugstores, perfumeries and other Beauty channels.
- Substantial experiences with Scaling-up Business and Responsibility of the big retailer.
- Conceptual and innovative mindset.
- Pragmatic and hands-on mentality.
- Language: Spanish and English fluently, additionally German and Portuguese would be an advantage.
