Sr. Pre-Silicon, IP Application Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary post-sales technical interface for customers using high-speed interface IPs such as Ethernet, PCIe, SerDes, HBM, and UCIe.

• Provide remote and on-site silicon bring-up support to customers globally.

• Work closely with internal R&D teams and deliver timely updates to program managers as needed.

• Develop and maintain APIs and ATE vectors for product validation and production testing.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in collaboration with internal cross-functional teams.

Pre-Silicon Integration Responsibilities

• Integrate Verilog models and support simulation flows.

• Support GDS physical integration and assist with floor planning.

• Perform Design-for-Test (DFT) integration and verification.

• Handle timing integration and closure for high-speed IP designs.

• Conduct Signal Integrity (SI) / Power Integrity (PI) reviews for package and evaluation board design.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 7 years of experience in post-silicon validation, applications engineering, or similar roles.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and either Mandarin or Korean.

• Strong expertise in application engineering and hands-on post-silicon validation.

• Deep knowledge of high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, SerDes, and Ethernet.

• Familiar with firmware development, system-level debugging, and bring-up processes.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proven experience in customer-facing roles and cross-functional collaboration.

• Project or team leadership experience is a plus.
