Key responsibilities:
- Support senior management in the identification and analysis of value creation opportunities
- Conduct market research and benchmarks to identify best practices and areas of enhancement
- Evaluate opportunities to develop new business lines, expand into adjacent businesses and / or enter new markets
- Monitor progress in the implementation of group strategic value creation initiatives, measure impacts and determine return on investment
- Review and analyse group financial and business performance, identifying key risks and opportunities
- Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis on business models, incorporating macroeconomic data
- Develop and deliver senior management strategic reporting on business performance and value creation initiatives execution, using financial and operational metrics gathered from different sources
- Deliver ad-hoc strategic analyses to support data-driven decision making by the Management Team
- Prepare business presentations for the senior management team with conclusions on analyses and recommendations for action
- Provide support to the management team on the planning and execution of strategic initiatives
- Provide support on strategy and corporate development activities and coordinate with external advisors, shareholders, and investors
- Contribute to the creation of centres of excellence within the Group and assist on the development and implementation of synergies plans
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required in Business, Finance or a related field; Master's degree a plus
- Minimum 2 years of experience from a relevant background, namely from strategy consulting (MBB, Big4 strategy, boutiques) and/or similar role in PE-backed company
- Knowledge of corporate finance principles, exposure to M&A and familiar with financial models
- Experience and proficiency in creating and delivering compelling business presentations
- Strategic thinker with and analytical mindset, coupled with problem solving abilities
- Well-developed social skills and a senior presence
- Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint; Knowledge of Think-cell and PowerBI a plus
- Excellent level of English and Spanish; German or Dutch highly valued
