Our client, an entrepreneurial European producer and supplier of different food products, mainly seafood, established in 1991, is looking for:
 his/her French CEO based in Boulogne Sur Mer.  

His/her main responsibilities:

• Take full responsibility for the French company, its P&L and performance.
• Full ownership of the company’s strategy on the French market to secure the growth of the current product portfolio and support its extension, in line with Corporate‘s guidances.
• Present, promote and sell products using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
• Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
• Develop a best performing team : hiring, retaining, developing talents.
• Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
• Work closely with supporting functions based at the group’s Headquarters.
• Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products.
• Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.

 
The ideal candidate:

• Degree in Business Management, possibly coupled with a MBA in Sales and Marketing
• Fluent in English and French
• Able to set the short and long-term direction
• Significant work experience in the commercial functions of international organizations operating in the FMCG business in food sector in positions of increasing responsibilities up to the management of a P&L of a large BU or a small company.
• Ideally very good knowledge of seafood market in the region, preferably surimi and salmon.
• A good experience in the management of sales teams is mandatory
• Deep knowledge of supermarkets and modern trade chains is mandatory.
