At Morgan Philips Executive Search, we are on the lookout for an exceptional professional to take on the role of Head of HR at one of the leading multinational companies in its sector. Reporting directly to the Country General Manager and the International HR Director for the business unit, this position is crucial in contributing to the HR policies and strategic plans, based on the real needs of the Spanish subsidiary. You will oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance with labor laws, and the development and implementation of HR policies that support our business goals and foster a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and coordinate the HR strategic plan for the subsidiary, adapting it to the needs of the local business.
- Lead and manage the HR team in the country.
- Identify organizational needs in HR matters and propose effective solutions.
- Promote the culture and values of the organization.
- Coordinate the compensation policy globally and locally.
- Participate in the design and implementation of HR policies in areas such as Recruitment, Training, Development, Communication, etc.
- Coordinate the training strategy internationally and use coaching as a development tool.
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations and handle any legal HR issues.
- Oversee employee compensation, benefits, and incentives.
- Ensure the quality of the Development process and identify and develop talent within the subsidiary.
- Build and maintain the employer brand image in the subsidiary.
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations and collective agreements.
- Advise stakeholders on HR issues.
- Ensure employee engagement and experience.
- Participate in cross-functional projects with other HR departments and international structures.
Candidate Requirements:
- University degree. A Master's degree in Human Resources and coaching certification will be positively valued.
- At least 15 years of professional experience, with at least the last 3 in a similar role.
- Consolidated experience in multinational companies with matrix structures.
- Strength in experience and knowledge in the soft aspect of HR.
- knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in English (high level required) as you will work with an international team and participate in international committees. Proficiency in other languages will be positively valued.
- Residence in Madrid.
- Telework Policy: 1 Day a Week
