As the Campaign Delivery Manager, you will do more than just deploy campaigns day to day; you will provide leadership to a continuously evolving team, responsible for the deployment and optimisation of MAB wide campaigns, both tactical and ‘always on’ programmes from Adobe Campaign – our campaign management tool. This is a varied role and will give anyone joining the team a real opportunity to become an expert in their field using a highly complex world class system.
We want someone with at least 5 years knowledge and experience of data and database marketing from a Marketing focused degree or career. This is an ideal role for someone who has experience in delivering a high volume of activity, in a fast-paced environment. They should be intrigued by the world of data and how we use data to make more informed marketing decisions and deliver personalised customer marketing programmes.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the team’s delivery of our CRM programme via Adobe Campaign, including our tactical comms schedule and ‘always on’ programmes through email, push & SMS across our portfolio of 15 brands.
- Manage the Campaign Delivery Team of 6 heads, ensuring regular catch ups, training and personal development programmes are in place
- Work with the Digital Optimisation team to understand performance and recommend campaign enhancements, in addition to overseeing the team’s involvement in our performance delivery programme to develop our CRM success.
- Define and optimise processes and ways of working for the Campaign Delivery Team
- Oversee the test and learn programme ensuring it is implemented through the Campaign Delivery Team.
- Manage a detailed deployment plan (portfolio) and schedule to ensure brands are informed on timings and deliverables.
- Ensure an effective resource schedule and capacity management.
- Work with the Technical Adobe team to implement an effective QA management/process
- Be happy to get your hands dirty and implement email campaigns, QA, peer review etc.
- Manage agency relationships including brand agencies who provide email assets as well as any other third parties
- Be the contact point for queries resulting from our email programme, liaising with our digital planning team to ensure processes and SLAs are adhered to.
- Attend regular meetings including digital agencies, data agencies, internal departments and team catch ups.
- Work on ad hoc projects. For example, driving updates to our email CMS or the development of automated workflow tools.
We are looking for experience in;
- Circa 5+ years’ experience of working in a CRM or a Campaign Manager role, with an excellent understanding in data and database marketing from a client or agency environment.
- Experience in managing a team or direct reports.
- Ideally experienced in a campaign management tool such as Adobe Campaign, IBM Unica, PeopleStage, Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Experience of working onsite with clients or multiple stakeholders to deliver campaigns, best practise guidance, training and support.
- Experience of managing complex multi-channel, multi-wave data driven campaign programs across multiple industry sectors.
- Good understanding of campaign reporting and experience of presenting analysis to internal stakeholders to inform future campaign strategy.
- Excellent understanding of relational data and database marketing, campaign and reporting tools.
