Fyte are delighted to be working with an industry-leading investment company in the centre of Edinburgh who are looking for a Corporate Tax Consultant to join them.

The Tax team are responsible for managing the tax compliance and planning for all company entities throughout EMEA. This includes making sure that all tax returns are completed correctly and paid on time as well as providing advice.

Your responsibilities in this role will include (but not be limited to):
* Prepare local tax returns, ensure compliance and that reporting requirements are met for the specific EMEA companies within your region
* Provide tax support and advice to business units and management as well as responding to tax queries raised by auditors.
* Work with regional advisors  for tax returns outside of the UK
* Provide tax accounting support to the European and US teams, including the preparation of regional tax summary of information and reports
* Identify tax risks, tax legislative changes, opportunities to implement tax efficiencies and management of external tax advisors
* Assist in managing transfer pricing compliance matters within Europe
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
* Tax/Accountancy qualification (CTA/CA etc.)
* Corporate Tax knowledge
* Excellent tax research skills combined with good decision making
* Ability to work with minimal supervision
* Commercial awareness with an appreciation of other non-tax business drivers
