Do you love all things digital? We are on the lookout for a Social Media Expert, with a passion for the creative industry to join an exciting organisation on a 6 months fixed term contract. You will need to be innovative, professional & able to think on your feet!

You would be managing the online presence of this organisation, by identifying, developing and publishing engaging content across all of their social media platforms and websites, ensuring their audiences are kept up-to-date with all the relevant information & news. No two weeks will be the same in this role so the capability to adapt & prioritise your time and workload is key, as you would be working on various projects/stories simultaneously as and when they come in.

You'll be based mainly in their Edinburgh office, but this is definitely not a desk job. You'll be out and about attending openings, film locations, festivals and many more exciting events, gathering live media content, i.e. video material and testimonials for online features. When in the office, you'll work as part of a small team of 3, where you will work closely with your manager, who'll support you through your role. However, as part of the wider communications division you'll have full autonomy in your position, and you'll be expected to make on-the-spot editorial decisions.

With a huge portfolio of partners, you will act as the main point of contact for all digital communications matters. You will of course need proven experience in building strong and lasting relationships as well as the ability to juggle heavy and conflicting workloads. Confidence is key in this role as you'll be liaising with the most senior stakeholders internally and externally.

Operating under strict FOI guidelines, you will have demonstrable experience in dealing with sensitive and confidential information and an understanding of compliance and the suitability of content. A background in web and digital communications is key for this role, preferably within a large public facing organisation, coupled with a keen interest in anything creative!
If this sounds like your next role please don't hesitate to get in touch with me.

Please note you will receive an automated response advising you that we have received your CV.
