We are partnering with a fantastic London based charity to find a finance business partner to join their supportive and collaborative management accounting team. Its an exciting role that will support two of the biggest revenue generating departments in the organisation. The position will sit within the UK finance team, and will be responsible for providing robust reporting and analysis for the budget holders this role supports. This role will help shape financial decisions and long term plans that align to the wider strategy of the organisation. This role is instrumental in making sure that the key decision makers are informed and engaged with the financial process and manage risk.


Job Purpose:

  • Evaluate performance against plans and apply business insights.
  • Use analysis to identify trends from across the department and ensure optimal financial decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the wider organisation to ensure that financial management information is complete and accurate.
  • Use Business Intelligence Tools to develop insightful dashboards.
  • Identify operational and financial risks, and determine the method of mitigating these risks.


Essential skills

  • Completed a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA).
  • Experience of formulating, overseeing and reporting on operational plans, including KPIs.
  • Demonstrable of using data and to inform recommendations for improvements to products, processes or activities.
  • Proven experience of using financial analysis to demonstrate trends that inform and drive business decisions.
  • An understanding of information systems, coupled with an ability and desire to learn new systems.  
  • Experience of working in an international organisation would be beneficial.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with both finance and non-finance colleagues.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Positive, proactive and flexible approach with a keen attention to detail.


The role will pay up to £50,000 plus an excellent benefits package. The organisation operate a hybrid working model, with 40% of time spent face to face.
