Morgan Philips HR Recruitment are delighted to be supporting one of our Edinburgh clients who are recruiting for an HR & Reward Consultant. You will be providing a professional advice and administrative support with particular focus on pay and reward. Occasional travel across Scotland to the client’s other offices might be required.
 
Key responsibilities:
  • Supporting the HR Business Partner with the development and implementation of a new pay and grading structure
  • Providing advice and support in relation to the pay and grading project and advise and assist on the development of appropriate documents associated with the project.
  • Working with line managers to analyse and gather necessary information, identify and assess options, and support/guide decision making to ensure consistent, appropriate and pro-active HR solutions are adopted, while associated risks are managed/minimised.
  • Advising managers and staff on HR policies, procedures and systems.
  • Sourcing, interpreting and analysing management information to assist the project and engage with the Pay and Reward Business Partner to agree and implement associated action plans.
  • Contributing to the design, review, revision, implementation and maintenance of HR policies and procedures and encourage the consistent application of related best practice on Divisional basis.
  • Deputising for and representing the Pay and Reward Business Partner as appropriate both internally and externally.
  • Providing administration support for the project, arranging meetings, taking minutes, and scheduling job evaluation panels.
 
Essential skills and qualifications:
  • CIPD qualified and HR/Training degree.
  • Able to work independently and lead on activities where required.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and deal sensitively with related issues/individuals with tact, diplomacy and discretion.
  • Proven analytical and problem solving ability.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
