My client is a prominent business in the Waste Management industry with a requirement for skilled and experienced Key Account Manager to join the business and take ownership of a small group of the client's most valuable customers. These very large, multi-site customers require a lot of attention but similarly, as is always the skill in KAM, you need to look after your employer's interests in the relationship too.

The role will look after a small portfolio of very large clients, each of whom are a household name, to manage their account which is typically a significant multi-site operation. This will involve understanding the normal requirements, the stakeholder behaviour and any regular challenges that the customer will experience. 

This is undoubtedly a role for a very skilled Account Manager, rather than a new business 'hunter' type salesperson. We need someone who is an impeccable relationship manager, who will forge strong realtionships built on trust and will deliver on what they have promised every time. Not only will you be very fast moving in a reactive sense, you will be the kind of candidate who looks at the situation and proactively looks to see issues and opportunities before they happen.

On offer is a strong package of £35k to £40k on basic salary, a company car (or allowance) and performance related bonus. Given the size and calibre of this employer there are also a further list of employee benefits available to you.
