Responsibilities:
- Receive and process client instructions for straightforward Wills through scheduled appointments.
- Efficiently prepare, explain, and submit draft documents for approval, aiming for same-day or within 24-hour turnaround.
- Promptly present and settle the firm's account.
- Refer complex inquiries to senior members of the Private Client team.
- Provide advice on Lasting Powers of Attorney, overseeing their preparation and registration.
- Train and support new Will Writers.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Pleasant and cooperative demeanor.
- Diligent and independent work approach.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- PC literacy with accurate keyboard skills.
- Minimum 18 months of experience in a busy Private Client department, including will drafting and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
- Law degree/LPC is a plus but not mandatory.
Position Details:
- Based at the Bexleyheath office with occasional travel. (One day per week WFH)
- Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5:30 pm, with a one-hour lunch break.
