Project Manager (Estates)
I am delighted to bring to market a new role for a Project Manager to join a visionary public sector agency.
Working as part of the Estates and Facilities Management team you will assist with the management of the company’s property portfolio throughout Scotland.
You will primarily be responsible to project manage the closure of one of company’s owned properties , including planning execution & communications of all aspects of the project.
You will also be required plan and execute the opening, moving and closure of other properties as they continue to review their estate.
As the Project Manager you will ensure that all specified projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. In addition, you will manage change to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
To be considered for the role you should have the following:
  • Educated to a degree level in surveying, facilities management or similar
  • Proven experience in project management working within construction or property management
  • Managing projects and budgets, ideally across both public and private sectors providing advice and influencing to add value
  • Demonstrable experience of decommissioning a property and/or managing an office move
  • Experience using Project Management Office software
This is a hybrid role with the team based in Glasgow. However you may be required to visit their other properties through Scotland.
The role is initially for a 18 month Fixed Term Contract.
