We have partnered with a global professional services firmwho are seeking a Regulatory insights Banking Prudential Manager based in London. They are offering a competitive salary of up to £73,000k + benefits.
We are looking for ambitious and driven individuals with a strong background in:
* Regulation
* Technical Expertise
* Broader Interest in the Regulatory / Risk Landscape
* Ability to write reports
* Industry experience in Regulators, Consultancies, Trade bodies, Treasury or similar

Skills and attributes for success 
* Supporting clients and client delivery teams with industry and technical expertise on prudential matters for banks and investment firms
* Occasionally acting as subject matter expert on engagements
* Undertaking horizon scanning activities and identifying potential new opportunities for the firm
* Contributing to the work of FSRI focusing on new regulatory developments, wider themes and regulators' policymaking, supervisory and enforcement activities
* Producing written analysis and information including internal briefings, client publications, marketing materials, website content, press releases, etc.
* Conducting technical research, training, speaking at client events, responding to consultation papers from relevant regulatory bodies etc.
* Providing input to the debate on development and application of policy, participating in developing Thought Leadership
* Engaging with regulators and policymakers on areas of expertise, and supporting the activity of FSRI's wider regulatory relations team.

Ideally, you'll also have
* Demonstrable experience in banking prudential regulation, with particular focus on CRR/ CRD IV, CRR II/ CRD V and Basel IV, EBA standards and the PRA's approach to prudential supervision.
* Be able to identify how risk and regulatory challenges will impact clients, as well as an awareness of the wider issues affecting this sector.
* Previous experience is likely to have been in a firm, or in a policy/supervisory department at one of the regulators. Alternatively, the candidate may have gained his or her experience from working in an industry body, government department, law firm or consulting firm.

To qualify for the role, you must have
* Deep technical grounding in banking prudential issues, especially capital and/or liquidity related, with expertise in risk-weighted capital requirements, leverage ratio, LCR, NSFR and related areas such as TLAC included in Basel/CRD and EBA standards
* Knowledge of the banking sector, including the typical business and operational models of clients in this sector
* Broad knowledge of UK and EU regulatory and supervisory structure, the regulatory development process for financial services and the current EU regulatory agenda
* Experience of advising on PRA principles, rules and regulatory processes
* Excellent technical, delivery and communication skills including using social media and other technology
* Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
* Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
* Ability to make new contacts, build strong relationships with clients and regulators, listen to and understand client needs
* Desire and ability to interpret regulatory changes into new opportunities to assist clients, drawing on wider geopolitical, technological and demographic issues.
