Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Executive Manager, Charities to join a leading organization focused on community welfare and charitable initiatives. This role is essential for supporting the strategic direction and operational management of charitable programs and partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in philanthropy, program management, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Management:
  Assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of charitable programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and community needs.

• Stakeholder Engagement:
  Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including non-profit organizations, community groups, and government agencies, to foster collaboration and support.

• Strategic Planning:
  Contribute to the development and execution of the charity strategy, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement in charitable activities.

• Budget Management:
  Assist in the preparation and management of the charity budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.

• Reporting and Evaluation:
  Monitor and evaluate the impact of charitable programs, preparing reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

• Team Leadership:
  Support the management and development of the charity team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

• Community Outreach:
  Coordinate community outreach initiatives and events to raise awareness of charitable activities and engage the public in fundraising efforts.

Qualifications

• Education:
  Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Non-Profit Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.

• Experience:
  5+ years of experience in charity management, program development, or related fields, with a proven track record of successful project implementation.

• Communication Skills:
  Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Cantonese, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.

• Analytical Skills:
  Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to assess program effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.

• Leadership Skills:
  Proven leadership capabilities, with experience in managing teams and fostering a positive working environment.

• Technical Proficiency:
  Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management tools.
