Job Title: Facilities Officer

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Officer to join a reputable organization in Hong Kong. Key Responsibilities

  • Facilities Management:
    Oversee the daily operations of the facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep to ensure a safe and efficient environment.

  • Vendor Coordination:
    Manage relationships with service providers and vendors, ensuring timely and quality delivery of services such as cleaning, security, and maintenance.

  • Safety Compliance:
    Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.

  • Space Management:
    Assist with space planning and allocation, optimizing the use of facilities to support organizational needs.

  • Budget Monitoring:
    Assist in the preparation and management of the facilities budget, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

  • Emergency Preparedness:
    Develop and implement emergency response plans, conducting drills and training to ensure staff readiness.

  • Reporting:
    Maintain accurate records of facilities-related activities and prepare reports for management as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience:
    3-5 years of experience in facilities management or a similar role, preferably in a corporate environment.

  • Technical Skills:
    Proficient in facilities management software and Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong understanding of building systems and maintenance procedures.

  • Problem-Solving Skills:
    Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

  • Communication Skills:
    Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
