This is a key position responsible for leading and managing the supply chain operations, develop strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, mitigate risk, and efficient operations in the designated regions/countries. Develop policies, process and procedures to evolve business requirements or issues, collaborating with other division/regions and supply chain partners. Provide exceptional leadership to lead, mentor, coach within the team.

 

Job Responsibilities
Logistics

  • Implement the supply chain strategy and objectives across regions and countries.
  • Perform inventory management, including cycle counts, reconciliation, and adjustments.
  • Review records for accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
  • Conduct regular assessments of storage conditions with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Enhance physical layouts to ensure effective inbound and outbound goods flow.
  • Monitor importation procedures, goods receiving, discrepancy reporting, and delivery arrangements for both domestic end users and international distributors.
  • Establish and implement quantitative KPIs for the distribution center.
  • Manage operations within the distribution center to deliver high-quality warehousing services.
  • Oversee warehouse management in collaboration with 3PL distribution centers.
  • Optimize system interfaces with logistics partners for improved efficiency.


Customer Service

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal sales teams and external distributors.
  • Develop effective ordering patterns in collaboration with sales and distributors.
  • Ensure new orders are entered into the system promptly and manage existing orders to maintain a high order fulfillment rate.
  • Coordinate export delivery arrangements with the distributor’s assigned forwarder.
  • Oversee daily operations, including internal shipment tracking, receiving, and order confirmation.
  • Control and verify products during receipt and shipment.
  • Liaise with forwarders to secure competitive rates for exportation.
  • Provide sales support to business teams in the region through reporting and analysis of sales trends.

Forecast Planning
  • Implement, drive, and enhance the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
  • Ensure inventory availability for shipment and sales requirements.
  • Accurately develop and manage supply planning and demand forecasts.
  • Coordinate planning and forecasting initiatives, resources, and expectations across regions.
  • Analyze inventory flow, sales trends, market conditions, and production capacities/constraints to maintain healthy inventory replenishment and meaningful forecast data.
  • Follow up on backorder fulfillment status to ensure continuous inventory supply.
  • Periodically review key items with significant sales volume to ensure robust support for business needs.
