Accountant F/H - manufacturing international company

My client, a well-known manufacturing international company is seeking an Accountant to join the accounting team composed with 5 people and based in Luxembourg City (Gare area).

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, financial reporting, general ledger entries, and other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will have a passion for accounting and a strong desire to learn and grow within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and customer/vendor communication;
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including preparing journal entries and reconciling bank statements;
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of financial statements and reports;
• Prepare various financial reports and analyses as requested by management;
• Assist with audits and other compliance activities as needed;
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation;
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field;
• 1-2 years of accounting experience preferred, but recent graduates are encouraged to apply;
• Fluent in English - Additional European language is a plus ;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills;
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
