Claims Specialist F/M – Dutch Speaker

Join a dynamic, human-sized non-life insurance company, known for its expertise, customer proximity, and commitment to service excellence. As part of the ongoing growth, my client is looking for a Claims Specialist F/M to strengthen the claims management team.

Your Responsibilities

As a Claims Specialist, you will be the main point of contact for the policyholders following a claim. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Receiving, analyzing, and handling claim notifications (motor, home, liability, etc.) in line with contractual terms;
• Assessing damages and determining liability based on documentation and case analysis;
• Coordinating with experts, lawyers, repairers, or other service providers to gather all necessary information for case resolution;
• Informing, advising, and supporting policyholders throughout the claims process;
• Ensuring complete administrative follow-up of the file until final settlement;
• Identifying potentially fraudulent claims and escalating them when necessary.

Your Profile

• You have at least 5 years of experience in non-life claims handling;
• Experience gained in Luxembourg, Belgium, or the Netherlands is considered a strong asset;
• You are customer-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple files with accuracy and efficiency;
• You have excellent communication skills and are comfortable interacting with clients and third parties;
• You are fluent in English & Dutch
• You are comfortable working with claims management tools and insurance software.
