Financial Reporting Specialist F/M - Chinese Speaker

We are looking for a Financial Reporting Specialist F/M to manage regulatory reporting, data analysis, reconciliation, and automation using VBA, SQL, and Python in a dynamic banking environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Verify and validate financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare local regulatory reports and head office financial reports.
• Generate and maintain daily and monthly internal financial reports.
• Develop and implement VBA scripts to automate reporting, streamline processes, and improve data management efficiency.
• Conduct daily monitoring and analysis of banking business data, ensuring accurate account reconciliation and identification of anomalies.
• Process and execute payments in line with internal controls and compliance requirements.

Technical Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of bank accounting and regulatory reporting.
• Analytical mindset with a keen eye for banking business data trends.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel VBA, Python, SQL, or R for data analysis and automation.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in financial accounting or reporting.
• Fluent in English and Chinese
• Strong proficiency in Excel, Python, and SQL.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
