We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Specialist F/M with expertise in CSSF (Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier) financial reporting to join the financial team of a leading bank. In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely reporting to regulatory authorities, supporting the institution’s commitment to transparency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports in accordance with CSSF regulatory requirements.
- Manage a variety of regulatory reporting frameworks, including prudential reporting, FINREP, COREP, FRTB, asset encumbrance, leverage, and large exposures.
- Handle MREL reporting and contribute to submissions to the Single Resolution Board.
- Support IRRBB reporting (Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book).
- Stay updated on evolving regulatory requirements, ensuring all reports comply with the latest standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather accurate financial data, ensuring completeness and consistency in reporting.
- Monitor regulatory changes and adapt internal reporting processes accordingly.
- Assist in preparing for regulatory audits and examinations, including managing documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Provide guidance to finance, compliance, and legal teams regarding CSSF and other regulatory reporting standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as ACCA or CPA are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, particularly with CSSF regulatory requirements.
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks including CRD IV, FINREP, COREP, and other key banking reporting standards.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
