Our client, a renowned international industrial group, is looking for a Legal Counsel as part of a newly created position to support its legal department in managing complex legal matters across multiple jurisdictions.
This opportunity will allow you to work closely with key stakeholders and provide strategic legal guidance within a highly dynamic and international environment. The position is based in the south of Luxembourg, and the Legal Counsel will report directly to the Head of Legal.
Your Role:
As part of the legal department, you will be actively involved in providing legal support for the group's operations in various countries. Your responsibilities include:
- Analyzing and mitigating legal risks that could impact the group’s activities and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Offering legal advice on a range of matters, particularly in business law, corporate governance, and transactions.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements with internal and external stakeholders.
- Conducting in-depth risk assessments and supporting the implementation of necessary legal measures.
- Supporting the legal aspects of structuring and integrating new entities within the group.
- Monitoring and managing potential litigation or disputes that may arise.
- Contributing to internal policy development and ensuring their application within the group.
Your Profile:
- Master’s degree in Law, with a specialization in commercial, corporate, or business law.
- Between 2 to 5 years of relevant experience, either in a corporate legal role or a law firm.
- Proficiency in English and French; or English and German; Luxembourgish would be an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to work on complex transactions and negotiate contracts.
- Strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a capacity to work autonomously.
