For one of our client, a world leading Real Estate firm in constant growth, we are currently looking for a Real Estate Accounting Team Leader (M/F) to strengthen the Finance team.
Reporting to the SVP or CFO, your main responsibilities will be (but are not limited to):
- Assisting external administrators and in-house accountants with preparation of accounting entries, such as acquisitions, disposals and distributions;
- Quarterly review of accounting records;
- Managing the process of preparation of consolidated financial statements by an external service provider for the various top holding companies;
- Reviewing of reporting packages;
- Consolidation of reporting packages per investment;
- Reviewing and preparation of Luxembourg GAAP financial statements;
- Intercompany reconciliations and regular intercompany settlements where applicable;
- Coordination of the (interim) audit processes;
- Preparation of various reporting and summary per investment;
- Supporting asset management and acquisitions teams with ad hoc financial information;
- Preparation and monitoring of operating budgets, liquidity and cash management for investments;
- Ensuring that all tax filings are kept up to date for the SPVs, as well as legal and statutory compliance;
- Leading a Finance team while being in contact with the Property Managers.
- University degree in Finance and Accounting. ACCA or any similar certification would be an asset;
- At least 8 years of experience in a similar position within the Real Estate industry;
- Knowledge in LUX GAAP and IFRS. Any other local GAAP would be an advantage;
- Proficient use of MS Office and accounting softwares;
- Organized, meticulous and self-motivated, with strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Able to work independently in a dynamic environment.
