Senior Accountant - Family Office (M/W)

Focused on investments in private equity and real estate, the Luxembourgish office is going through constant growth and is currently composed of 25 people.
The financial department of the office is looking for its new Senior Accountant. In this position, you will have to report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
 
Integrated in a team of 6, and in close collaboration with the Reporting Treasury analyst and the Financial Controller your main missions will be to:
 

• Be responsible for the administrative follow-ups of your entities portfolio;
• Ensure bookkeeping and post day-to-day journal entries as well as new transactions;
• Monitor payments;
• Monitor compliance and correspondence with authorities as well as filing key documents (eCDF, VAT returns, Tax returns…);
• Manage the relationship with service providers (Tax advisers …);
• Provide answers to the auditor’s queries regarding your concerned entities;
• Validate trades on a daily basis, reconcile cash and report breaks to the Middle-Officer;
• Assist management on specific reporting such as performing financial analysis on transactions or specific restructuring.

 
Profile:
 

• Degree in Finance, ideally in accounting;
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position and in companies such as PE/RE investments companies, Banks or within a BIG 4;
• Expert of Lux GAAP and Luxembourg regulatory environment;
• Knowledge in IFRS and/or experience in tax and VAT would be considered as an asset;
• Very dynamic and eager to evolve in a fast-paced environment;
• Collaborative and team player;
• Completely fluent in English.
