We are seeking an Senior Accountant to join a fast-moving consumer goods group based in Luxembourg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, proficiency in SAP, and the ability to communicate effectively with international clients.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounting. The team you will join consists of six professionals. This multicultural environment offers a dynamic and collaborative workspace where your contributions will be valued.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily accounting activities for two entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and standards.
- Manage and process invoices, track expenses, and perform bank account reconciliations.
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly accounts for each entity, including Profit & Loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist in the preparation and review of annual statutory financial accounts..
- Coordinate with external advisors to ensure accurate preparation of statutory financial information.
- Prepare VAT and Intrastat reports, maintaining communication with Tax authorities and tax consultants.
- Handle day-to-day operations related to client files for both entities and follow up with third parties as needed.
- Manage customer invoicing processes and oversee the collection of payments.
- Process vendor payments and manage receipts of debtors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in French or Spanish is considered an added value.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with SAP FICO module is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail ensure accurate financial work. Good at prioritizing tasks.
