Job Title: Senior Lab and Fab Manager
Reports to: Senior Global Manager in the States
Location: Hsinchu, Taiwan
 
Our client in this search is a global leading advanced materials company. This is an important management positions and the person will lead a group of chemist and engineers to support Company’s division for ultra-high purity acids, bases, solvents, and formulated blend chemistries that are used by semiconductor manufacturers.
 

Main Responsibilities

• Manage day to day operations. Ensure lab operation and personnel safety. Develop and mentor group members' career development. Manage hazardous lab chemicals.

• Lead new method development efforts in the following areas:
  • Organic analysis method development using GCMS, GC-FID, PY-GCMS, GC-QQQ, and NVR techniques.
  • Metal analysis method development using ICPMS.
  • Retention method using DMA.
  • On-wafer analysis to support in-house beta sample evaluation.
• Working Global application and R&D team as well as metrology team to support business growth and satisfy customer requirement.
• Lead the effort to identify and implement state of the art testing capability and increase technology barrier between competitors with innovation ideas.
• Improve lab operational efficiency, tool up-time, utilization rate, beta sample success rate, etc.
• Grow the lab testing capacity to enhance customer support flexibility.
• Key measurements: Results delivered by lab group members. Lab operation metrics. Business growth and NPD projects supports and results.

 

Qualifications

• MS/Ph.D Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science.
• Over 5 years working experience as a Lab Manager/Supervisor.
• Lab and people Management skill is a must.
• Knowledge in various metrology techniques is a must.
• Proficient English conversation skill is highly preferred.
• Experiences in lab/fab environment is a must.
• Experiences in various 300mm wafer process tool is a plus.
• Willing to learn 300mm wafer wet/lithography process and hardware is a plus.
• Experiences handling highly hazardous chemicals is highly preferred.
• Self-driven, self-motivated, and work independently to achieve goals.
