Senior Tax Officer F/M - Asset Manager

We are seeking a Senior Tax Compliance Officer to join an asset manager in Luxembourg. You will work closely with the Head of Tax based in London.

Primary duties and responsibilities:

• Ensure proper tax governance for General Partners, Funds, and Holding Companies.
• Coordinate, review, and oversee the preparation and submission of Corporate Income Tax and Fund-related tax returns with the help of external tax advisors.
• Oversee and manage the preparation and submission of VAT returns.
• Supervise the preparation and filing of FATCA and CRS returns by tax advisors.
• Handle other tax or regulatory reporting (e.g., DAC6) in coordination with external advisors.
• Manage and coordinate transfer pricing reports with external service providers.
• Collaborate on intercompany instruments and tax structures with various teams.
• Work closely with the Luxembourg-based tax compliance associate and the Head of Tax in London.
• Assist the Third-Party AIFM with tax-related queries and processes.
• Train and assist your coworkers in Luxembourg.

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in tax, with a strong focus on direct taxation.
• Understanding of financial markets and Luxembourg fund structures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain positive business relationships.
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask, manage time efficiently, and demonstrate attention to detail.
• Fluent in English and proficient in French.
