My client is a recognized global leader in financial software in more than 19 locations.
I am seeking an experienced Tax Specialist to join Luxembourg's Tax & Transfer Pricing Team, reporting directly to the Group Tax Manager.
As a Tax Specialist, you can work in a hi-tech environment where projects are diverse, and the scope is global.
Responsibilities :
Tax Compliance and Tax Reporting:
- Reviewing corporate tax returns and tax provisions, including deferred Tax;
- Enhancing tax reporting within consolidated accounts;
- Ensuring compliance with corporate income tax, VAT/GST, WHT, and FATCA obligations by monitoring filing requirements and preparing necessary documentation in collaboration with the regional Finance team;
- Assisting the team during tax audits and managing requests from tax authorities;
- Collaborating with the FP&A team to develop tax provisions for budgeting and forecasting purposes.
Tax Advisory:
- Assisting in the implementation and enforcement of the company's tax policies, rules, procedures, and principles;
- Supporting the business development team in analyzing international and local tax implications;
- Assisting with group restructuring and other projects;
- Monitoring international and EU tax developments (e.g., Pillar II, CBC) and analyzing potential tax implications for the company;
- Tracking local tax legislative changes in various countries of operation and evaluating their impact on the company
Transfer Pricing:
- Assisting in updating the transfer pricing documentation of the group's affiliates.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Master's degree in economics, law, or Finance, ideally with a specialization in Tax;
- Between 3 years - 6 years of experience in an International Corporate Tax role with a Big 4 firm, ideally an International Group;
- Strong knowledge of International and European tax principles, including transfer pricing, Pillar II, and CBC reporting, as well as tax accounting matters;
- Willingness to learn and master tax compliance matters in foreign jurisdictions where reporting obligations exist;
- Ability to thrive in an international environment;
- Strong collaboration and communication skills;
- Fluency in French and English.
Preferred qualifications :
- Experience in the software industry;
- A good understanding of the APAC tax environment is desirable.
