Morgan Philips is looking for a Finance Director for one of clients who specializes in providing marine transportation services.
The Finance Director must direct and control the teams and processes related to administration, accounting, finance, risk management, treasury, collections, organization, and human resources to ensure the establishment and maintenance of a robust financial process and the planning and implementation of all relevant areas in accordance with the Corporate guidelines.
Main Tasks:
• Direct and control cash flow, dividend budget, working capital, and financial requirements.
• Oversee accounting, treasury, administration, and management control processes and activities within the company.
• Supervise and approve the monthly and annual financial closing packages and special reports for the Head Office.
• Direct and design the company’s management control, including the preparation of reports, budgets, key performance indicators, and business financial analyses.
• Oversee the annual external audit process and the preparation of audited financial statements.
• Develop, in coordination with the IT management, the systems plan and oversee its implementation.
• Ensure compliance with deadlines for the delivery of financial statements, audits, and tax-related matters.
• Act as an intermediary between General Management, the Board of Directors, and affiliated companies in Mexico.
• Continuously improve administration, finance, and systems processes.
• Monitor the HR (internal) and Legal (external) teams.
Requirements:
• Professional Training: Postgraduate level (desirable), official title of certified public accountant or a degree in business administration or industrial engineering.
• IFRS Standards
• Financial statement consolidation
• Advanced tax knowledge
• Administrative and financial processes
• Computer systems, desirable experience with consolidation tools, SAP, and BPC
• Experience: 5 years with personnel management, over 10 years of professional experience.
• Language and usage: Advanced English – Permanent.
• Dimensional data: 15 / 20 employees under supervision.
