We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Manager to join a growing Food & Beverages manufacturing plant, which currently employs 3,000 people. As our client expands its operations, this key leadership role will be responsible for defining and executing the quality strategy for the plant. The Quality Manager will lead a team of 40 individuals and ensure compliance with FDA regulations, managing certifications and audits to maintain the highest standards of product quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in quality management within the Food & Beverages industry.
Extensive knowledge of FDA regulations, certifications, and audits.
Proven leadership experience managing large teams (40+ people).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive change.
Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
Location: This position is based in Irapuato, Guanajuato.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the overall quality strategy for the plant in alignment with company goals.
- Lead and mentor a team of 40 quality professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, including handling all related certifications and audits.
- Oversee quality assurance processes, ensuring the highest standards of product safety and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, supply chain, and R&D, to drive quality initiatives.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance quality processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance and best practices.
