Supply Chain Director

We are seeking a hands-on, people-focused Supply Chain Director to lead and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations for a RETAIL company with over 300 stores and ambitious expansion plans.
This role is critical to ensuring high levels of service and efficiency in a dynamic environment, with a particular focus on managing perishable goods, supplier development, and coordination with third-party logistics (3PL) providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic and operational supply chain planning (S&OP/S&OE), including strategic sourcing.

• Oversee logistics, distribution, and warehouse management with a focus on operational efficiency and Total Cost optimization.

• Supervise key areas such as quality and food safety, R&D, and risk management (commodities, hedging, etc.), ensuring reliable and efficient product delivery to stores.

• Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to identify cost optimization opportunities. Develop and manage strategic suppliers both nationally and internationally.

• Oversee and coordinate logistics operations in partnership with an external 3PL provider. Identify opportunities for performance improvement and cost savings without compromising service levels.

Candidate Profile:

• Over 15 years of experience in supply chain management, within the retail sector.

• Proven track record in international sourcing, supplier negotiation, and supply chain development.

• Hands-on and approachable leader who leads by example and stays close to operations.

• Strong focus on talent development, with a human, empathetic, and accessible leadership style.

• Results-driven with a collaborative mindset and open communication style.

• Comfortable in fast-paced, growing environments with a clear commitment to service excellence.

• Language: Advanced English.
