Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Compensation and Benefits (C&B) Manager to join our Shared Services team based in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing and implementing compensation and benefits strategies that align with our overall business objectives. You will ensure that our compensation packages are competitive, equitable, and compliant with local regulations while also enhancing employee satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
Compensation Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive compensation strategies that attract, retain, and motivate top talent within the organization.
Market Analysis: Conduct regular market surveys and benchmarking to ensure our compensation packages remain competitive in the industry.
Benefits Management: Design, evaluate, and oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, ensuring they meet employee needs and comply with regulatory requirements.
Policy Development: Create and update C&B policies and procedures to ensure excellence in governance and compliance with local labor laws.
Data Analysis: Prepare and analyze compensation and benefits reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
Collaboration: Work closely with HR business partners and business leaders to understand workforce needs and provide C&B insights that support talent management and organizational effectiveness.
Employee Communication: Develop and implement effective communication strategies to educate employees on compensation and benefits programs.
Cost Management: Monitor and manage the budget for compensation and benefits to ensure effective cost control.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in compensation and benefits administration and implementation.
Required Skills:
Proven experience (5+ years) in Compensation and Benefits management, preferably in a shared services or multi-national organization. Strong knowledge of local labor laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights. Proficiency in compensation analysis tools and HRIS systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. High degree of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
Additional Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CCWP, CCP) is a plus. Experience in the shared services industry is preferred. Familiarity with regional and global compensation trends and best practices.
