About the Digital & Data Team

The company’s Digital & Data (D&D) journey began a few years ago, initiating various strategic projects like sales enablement tools, customer-facing mobile apps, and operational digitalization. These early successes have underscored the need to accelerate transformation.

Digital & Data are seen as two powerful levers:

  • To enhance customer centricity and user experience

  • To drive operational excellence company-wide

A newly appointed Chief Digital & Data Officer (ExCom level) is leading the next phase of this journey by building a central D&D team and embedding D&D talent across all business units, functions, and geographies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and manage the implementation, execution, and scalability of defined digital/data projects within the region

  • Leverage central D&D expertise and ensure alignment with global priorities

  • Appoint project leads, ensure cross-functional team engagement, promote agile ways of working, and maintain delivery pace

  • Anticipate and resolve project roadblocks

  • Design and oversee the rollout of successful pilots or MVPs, ensuring clear communication, guidelines, and support structures

  • Monitor, supervise, and communicate progress updates including KPIs, ROI, roadmap delivery, and scalability

  • Proactively identify local opportunities for D&D transformation (e.g. business model innovation, partnerships, transversal initiatives)
     

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for D&D matters within your domain

  • Collaborate with global and regional D&D teams, business units, and support functions

  • Represent the Digital & Data function in leadership discussions and promote awareness, momentum, and adoption of D&D strategy

  • Be an active contributor within the broader D&D internal community, sharing insights, innovations, and best practices

    Profile Requirements

    Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree from a Business or Engineering School

  • ~15 years’ experience with a strong track record in leading digital/data-driven transformation projects within large, decentralized, and multicultural organizations

  • Skills & Competencies

  • Proven experience managing complex transformation programs (content, tech, and change)

  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and organizational skills

  • Results-oriented and customer-centric

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills

  • Comfortable working in multicultural, cross-functional environments

  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to handle multiple priorities independently

  • Business and technical acumen with deep understanding of digital and data capabilities

  • Fluent in English and French; additional languages are an advantage

Reporting Structure

  • Directly reports to the Regional Leadership (SteerCo / Codir Member)

  • Dotted reporting line to the Chief Digital & Data Officer (Global HQ)
