As they continue to expand to non-property development business, they seek a strategic leader to elevate their corporate finance and investor relations efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Investment Engagement: Cultivate relationships with the investment community to enhance stock valuation and promote the company’s profile.
- Analyst Management: Oversee relationships with financial analysts and work to expand stock coverage by attracting additional research firms for increased market visibility.
- Communication: Articulate the company’s strategy and performance to the investment community clearly and in a timely manner.
- Shareholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing shareholders while attracting new investors to diversify the shareholder base.
- Corporate Transactions: Coordinate the effective execution of corporate actions such as rights issues, bonus issues, and bond fundraising to ensure seamless operations.
- Liaison Duties: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely submission and completion of corporate finance initiatives.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements set by Bursa Malaysia and other relevant authorities.
- Regulatory Updates: Stay informed on changes to laws and regulations affecting the organization’s operations.
- Additional Responsibilities: Undertake other duties as assigned by the organization from time to time.
- Financial Modeling: Develop financial models and support the structuring of corporate exercises, considering financial, accounting, legal, tax, and regulatory factors.
- Adviser Coordination: Oversee and manage the workflow of external advisers engaged in corporate exercises.
- Investment Analysis: Assess investment opportunities and provide actionable recommendations for evaluation.
- Corporate Finance Execution: Manage all facets of corporate finance activities, including deal structuring, due diligence, legal documentation review, and project management.
Ideal Candidate:
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualifications preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience - Corporate Finance/ Investor Relation in Real Estate, including at least 3 years in a senior management role.
- Language proficiency: Mandarin & English
- Strong grasp of financial statements, investment principles, and capital markets.
- Strong technical skills in financial modelling, investment analysis, land acquisition etc.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to cultivate and maintain robust relationships with investors, analysts, and stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
