Machine Learning Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking an innovative and skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join a Global Leader in Food & Beverage Retail. In this role, you will develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms that drive data-driven decision-making across our global operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experiences, optimize supply chains, and improve product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Model Development: Design, build, and deploy machine learning models to solve complex business problems, such as demand forecasting, customer segmentation, and inventory management.
• Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to uncover insights and trends that inform business strategies and operational efficiencies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, product managers, and IT teams to integrate machine learning solutions into our existing systems and workflows.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of deployed models, conducting regular evaluations and updates to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Research & Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in machine learning and data science, applying best practices to enhance our capabilities.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of models, processes, and methodologies for knowledge sharing and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in machine learning, data analysis, or related fields, preferably in the retail or food & beverage industry.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, with experience in ML frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, or Scikit-learn.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data processing techniques.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with retail operations, customer behavior analytics, and supply chain optimization is a plus.
