Network Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage global campus network security solutions in production environments.

• Evaluate and prioritize security risks in Operational Technology (OT) networks and design effective controls such as network segmentation, access restrictions, and monitoring systems.

• Operate, maintain, and continuously improve the global network security infrastructure.

• Provide technical support including software upgrades, policy management, troubleshooting, and deployment of new features.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation.

• Integrate OT networks with broader IT infrastructure, addressing unique security challenges in hybrid setups.
  
  
  Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of network technologies and segmentation methods (e.g., security zones, NAC).

• Minimum 4 years of experience managing enterprise-grade networks.

• Hands-on experience with leading network security technologies, particularly Cisco (routers, switches).

• Strong initiative, a proactive learning attitude, and a customer-oriented mindset; experience in managing change processes is a plus.

• Familiar with network monitoring tools and protocols (e.g., SNMP, REST API, Nagios, CheckMK).

• Certifications such as Palo Alto Networks Certified, Fortinet NSE, CCNA, or CCNP are highly valued.

• Experience with automation and configuration tools like Ansible.

• Basic scripting knowledge in languages such as Jinja, TCL, Python, and Bash.

• Comfortable working with REST APIs.
